Paul
Paul is not just your average artist—he's also a seasoned Registered Nurse. Talk about a guy with many talents!
So, what's the deal with Dusty Workbench? Well, they're all about laser engraving, cutting with a 100w CO2 laser, and carving with a Longmill CNC. But it's not just lasers and machinery; Paul and Brenda dive into all sorts of artsy techniques. Epoxy? Check. Sublimation? You got it. They're like the mad scientists of art, but in a cool way.
You won't find a direct shopping spree on their website, dustyworkbench.ca, but it's the spot to admire and get a sneak peek at their handcrafted treasures for your home. Oh, and if you're into behind-the-scenes action, head over to dustyworkbench.com. There, Paul spills the beans through blogs and videos, giving you a backstage pass to their creative adventures.
But wait, there's more! Dusty Workbench has its own YouTube channel where you can visually feast on their laser-centric escapades. It's like Netflix, but with more sparks and less drama.
Now, here's the twist: Paul is still rocking it as an RN, but don't expect him to drop medical knowledge bombs. Nope, he's all about the art scene here. And Brenda? She's the co-founder adding that extra touch to the Dusty Workbench magic.
Oh, and did we mention the extra mile they go? Another website, a YouTube channel, and even podcasts, all dedicated to shining a spotlight on local artisans. Community, collaboration, and creativity—it's like a three Cs party at Dusty Workbench!
So, if you're looking for a dose of artistry served with a side of fun, Dusty Workbench is your go-to crew. They're not just crafting cool things; they're crafting a whole community of creative souls. Cheers to that!
Brenda
I was always curious as to what it would be like to run a business of my own. My journey began when an opportunity was put in front of me to start a merchandising company. I had a successful business for 4 years and loved the freedom that came with my job. Once I had children, my priorities shifted and I had decided to put this part of my life aside to raise my children. After having the privilege of staying home with them until they were old enough to be at home by themselves after school, I was presented with a job opportunity that provided financial security and benefits. Twelve years later, my boys are no longer children but have grown to be beautiful souls and are getting ready to make their own mark in this world. SO.... my husband and I have decided to start our own business again - this time doing something we both really enjoy, woodworking. I look forward to sharing my journey with you in hopes that it will guide you and provide you with the inspiration to start your own business.
